Back Channel Press Distribution Program

Inventory — none required by you since BCP uses a POD (print on demand) printer. However, you can order as many books as you would like for your own use and as often as you would like. Printing takes three days.

Definitions

  • Retail orders are those placed by you through BCP.
    • Wholesale orders are those placed directly to printer by bookstores, Amazon, B&N.com and Borders.com.

    Retail Orders

    1. Placed by you through BCP for any number of books and to any address(s). See volume discounts below.
    2. Printer ships the books.
    3. You pay for printing and shipping charges.
    4. You'll need to pre-pay for retail orders you have placed. Credit card services are available through PayPal with a 3% convenience fee added to the order.

    Wholesale Orders

    1. With this service you set the retail price, wholesale discount and return policies. When setting up your book we'll discuss the pros and cons of various discounts and return policies with you.
    2. Your book information will be sent out to distribution partners (including leading distributors such as Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com and others).
    3. Distribution partners collect the orders.
    4. Printer collects the wholesale price, deducts the print cost and pays BCP the balance after 90 days.

    5.   Thirty days later BCP will pay you or when the accumulated amount has reached $50.00
