A limited reading & brief critique
An editorial reading of 15 pages and a brief critique of your project. Here is a sample brief critique.
Your project, issuing your own text for the extension course you teach, is an ideal project for self-publication. Your manuscript appears to be well organized, and you address your subject with authority, clarity and a lively sense of humor, illustrating your points with well-chosen anecdotes. My only concern: your text comes across as a bit wordy at times. I'd suggest editing for redundancy and unnecessarily drawn-out examples. I congratulate you on your meticulous grammar, structure and spelling-the basics are so important! I am pleased to say that I find this an entirely viable manuscript that, considering the marketing plan you have in mind, certainly looks like it could prove a commercial success for you.
